Never thought there were still racist businesses. The head cashier got mad because my friend and I asked why 15 people were served after our order and we have been sitting for 30 mins. She continued to shout in Spanish then got mad because we couldn't understand what she was saying

If you are looking for great Caribbean/Dominican food this is your place... They take a little long to serve and bring you the order but is all worth it. I live in the Seattle area and pray we get more places like this soon.

First time going, service a little slow but staff tries to be accommodating as much as possible, food average......

First time here with my husband the food was great but the customer service was awful. The waitress only acknowledged us upon arrival, we order two coffees to start then once our food was brought to us she never came back and offer further service. She didn't ask if we wanted something else to drink besides the coffee. She only came back to give us our check.

As always the food is excellent, and good prices. I been going there for years. Recommended if you like tipycal Dominican food.

Service is very slow here. The food is good. The prices are good. I was there with a large party of people. So there was a variety of dishes ordered and everyone seems to like they food. Just make sure you are very patient when you go, because you will be there awhile.

Food: very good.Prices: ok.Service: could I use a little improvement.Cleanliness: I saw a tiny, little roach go up the side of the wall, but to be fair 99% of restaurants have roaches and 85% of houses too. Those little bugs survive the atomic bomb, so the places where you don't see them, then you breathe a lot of pesticides.

Pollo Tipico, 5011 S. State Rd. 7, Davie: Which is creepier? About 17 live roaches, including two in a bag under takeout containers and six in a flip top condenser panel? Or, 29 dead roaches in a glue trap near the ice machine and another 15 roach corpses in the crack of a wall next to the ice machine?

If you like Dominican dishes,this is the place to be.Food is good,family friendly and clean.

Really good experience. This is like eat at Grandma's house. Good variety of plates to mix and match. Great flavor and giant servings. Next time I'll ask only one plate to share with my girl. I'm glad that I tell the server to make my order on a to go styrofoam plate. We were 7 adults and only paid like $90 including sodas and 15% tip. Recommended 100%

Amazing tres golpes breakfast and other authentic items like chicharrones, mofongo and beans, they are so good and real deal, my girlfriend loves this place . And we were lucky to find it - shes Dominican so she knows...

Best authentic Dominican restaurant I have had for a while.

I really enjoyed my takeout meal yesterday. I am visiting Florida and was up in that area for a show and happen to goggle Spanish food. This Dominican place pop up and it was delicious. It reminded me of New York and I was pleasantly pleased. I recommend others to stop by if you are in the area

This place is so outdated and the staff seems to careless about customer service. They are there to collect a paycheck and gossip among each other and look on their cellphones. The place is not clean and the food unfortunately lacks flavor. I assume that people go there thinking that they will have the opportunity to savor authentic Dominican food and unfortunately they are deceived by the name.

Terrifying to see so many positive reviews for a restaurant that was just closed down for having tens of dozens of cockroaches crawling about. I wonder how many of you have been eating your chicken a-la-cucaracha? In fact, how many of you have gotten sick afterwards and thought nothing of it??? Lol
